What is Circle K?
Circle K International (CKI) is the premier collegiate and university community service, leadership development, and friendship organization in the world. With more than 13,770 members in 17 nations, CKI is making a positive impact on the world every day!
Who can join?
Any student enrolled as an undergraduate can become a
member of Circle K! Simply attend a meeting or email an exec board member (see "About" page) for more information!
When are meetings?
Every Monday at 7:30pm in 303 Willard
What is the K Family?
Circle K was founded by an international organization called Kiwanis International. Kiwanis has created many branch organizations that make up our K Family, a support system here in State College and all over the globe! The clubs include Kiwanis Kids, Builders Club, Key Club, Circle K, Aktion Club, and Kiwanis.
Are there dues?
To be considered an active member, you must pay $20 a semester or $30 a year. Dues can be paid at any point during the year.
Do I have to volunteer for a certain number of hours?
To be considered an active member, you must volunteer 15 hours per semester (one of which relates to the District Service Project), attend 1 Kiwanis event, and attend 1 fundraising event, but being an active member is not required.
What is the 12 hour?
The 12 hour is a unique and fun service opportunity that happens once a semester! It's exactly what it sounds like: we participate in a 12 hour service marathon! It's always a great event and food is included!
